(This program is part of our Heart Mind Soul program, made possible through a Vital Worship Grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids, Michigan, with funds provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.)

It is imperative that the church creates spaces to begin a journey of emotional healing in the arms of the Father, fostering a spiritual formation that embraces the complexity of their identity and allows them to confront both their feelings and who they are becoming.

This is especially vital for young adults within the immigrant church, where there are not many spaces in churches that make room for this experience.

As a result, many young adults are left to figure out their walk with God on their own, often feeling isolated or disconnected from both their heritage and their faith.

But faith was never meant to be walked alone.

H.O.P.E. (Hold On, People Endure) Together is a cohort designed for young adults (ages 18-35) seeking to deepen spiritual resiliency and intentionality in community and accountability.

Rooted in faith and guided by meaningful conversations, this 7-month pilot provides a safe space to explore questions about identity, priorities, and relationships while addressing unique challenges like burnout, striving, and the pressures of navigating dual cultures.

Through group discussions, guided reflections, and practical tools, participants will learn to cultivate spiritual maturity, embrace their identity, and take ownership of their faith. Our hope that this would be more than just a program, but a journey that we go through together.

Together, we aim to help resource next-gen adults with opportunity to grow in they need: strength and clarity to face life’s challenges, authentic community, and space to grow into who they are called to be.

Join us as we journey toward hope and transformation!

What is H.O.P.E. Together, anyway?

H.O.P.E. Together is a 7-month community pilot program designed for young adults to explore their faith, identity, and purpose in a supportive communal environment, with peers, colleagues, and leaders.

Participants will have the opportunity to be in triads with other adults to go through mutual community. With the help of dedicated check ins with leaders and a designated leader to counsel, participants will do guided reflections and process them in community and safe dialogue.

Members of the HOPE Together Cohort will engage with themes like spiritual resilience, burnout, identity, and intentionality in their walk with God. The program addresses the unique challenges of navigating dual cultures as immigrants, wrestling through young adulthood, and fostering emotional healing, spiritual maturity, and a deeper understanding of who they are called to be.

Together, our aim is to help resource young adults across the region with more opportunities to be equipped with the strength, clarity, and community they need to thrive in their faith and life.

We also hope to inaugurate the first quarter of our cohort with a worship night to kick off our time together! We're so excited to try something new that will help many in our generation to Hold On and Endure–together.

We’re not done with HMS! As written into the grant, we have one more event planned throughout Y30: Heart, Mind and Soul:

  • Day of Rest for Pastors and Leaders - Coming Soon
