Currently, we are looking for:

Communications Intern

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Reporting directly to the Director of Communications and the Social Media/Public Relations Coordinator, the Communications intern will assist with various communication based tasks, such as:

    • Planning, writing and managing e-blasts and e-newsletters 

    • Assist with designing social media templates 

    • Collaborate with staff on new ideas of communication and engagement through social media channels 

Skills required: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with social media platforms

  • Experience with Canva preferred 

  • Strong attention to detail

Development Intern

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Reporting directly to the Development Manager and the Director of Programs, the Development intern will work to grow and expand the organization

  • Gain experience in donor management and project management

  • Support in implementing programs and operations that align with our organization’s vision and mission 

  • Assist with the advancement of ARISE by establishing new prospective programming and fundraising initiatives 

Skills required:

  • Strong writing and research skills

  • Detail oriented and ability to prioritize

  • Strong interpersonal skills
