Faith Statement
(Because we are an interdenominational ministry, we believe that it is important to clarify our beliefs with a statement of faith. We believe in the inerrant authority of Scripture and have drafted this statement of faith accordingly. Other than the Bible, we have consulted Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s Statement of Faith, which is inter-denominational, in drafting our statement of faith.)
We believe that there is one God that is Creator of all things (Gen. 1:1; John 1:1) and exists eternally as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 8:6; John 14:16-17, 26). We believe that human beings were created in the image of God (Gen. 1:26-27); however, because of Sin, which entered into the world through the transgression of Adam and Eve (Gen. 3), the human race has fallen into a state of corruption and spiritual death in their sins (Eph. 2:1). We affirm that we as human beings have fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23) and can only be saved by the Grace of God in Jesus Christ through faith (Eph. 2:8-9).
We believe that Jesus Christ, born without a human father, of the Virgin Mary (Matt. 1:18-25), fully God and fully man, is the Son of God (Mark 1:1), Savior of the World (John 4:42), and Lord over all (Phil. 2:9-11), who, because of His love for us (Rom. 5:8), died on the cross to save us from our sins (John 3:17), resurrected (Matt. 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20), and is now seated at the right hand of God (Heb. 12:2). We affirm that that there is salvation in no one else but Jesus (Acts 4:12), and that He is the only way, truth, and life (John 14:6). Anyone who believes in Him is a new creation in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17) and does not spiritually perish but has eternal life with God (Rom. 10:9-10; John 3:16). And through this, we believe that we are being sanctified (Phil. 1:6; Rom. 6) and are called to live out the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20).
